Itasca Cemetery

Located to the northwest of Albert Lea is Itasca Cemetery. It was once part of the old village of Itasca. Visitors can climb a small hill and walk through the sumac bushes to be greeted by a sign which also points to the old, weed strewn pioneer trail near the cemetery. This trail was used by travellers going west to Blue Earth and Mankato. The cemetery has a few stones and many more unmarked graves.
