Museum
Funding
Approximately 25% of the funding for
the Freeborn County Historical Museum, comes from government
sources. The remainder of the funding for salaries,
activities, research, maintenance of the library and
buildings, grounds upkeep, updating and acquiring displays,
must be raised by the museum staff, the Board of Directors,
and the FCHM Foundation. Over the years, this has been a
very difficult situation. As you can see from the
accompanying chart, we are anticipating a deficit in the
year 2006. A gift from you would be greatly appreciated.
Even very small donations such as $2.00, $5.00 $10.00 or
more do add up. If you enjoy the activities and displays
provided by the Museum and Historical Village, would you
please consider a gift or a monthly pledge to help us meet
our expenses. Your contribution would be greatly
appreciated. THANK YOU.
