A GENEALOGIST'S DREAM TRIP
The Freeborn County
Historical Museum & The
Freeborn County Genealogical Society are excited to announce the
following joint venture. A Genealogical Bus Trip to Salt Lake
City, Utah to the Worldís Largest Genealogical Library. The Trip
date is Saturday, September 27th through Saturday, October 4th,
2008. The cost listed below is per person, for members, and
includes bus transportation, room and orientation class. *Non-members add
$50.00 to listed amounts. (Meals are not
included).

The bus will leave Albert Lea on Saturday,
September 27th and arrive in
Salt Lake City on Sunday, September 28th. (This is a straight through
trip, we will not be stopping overnight, but we will stop for meals) We
will be staying at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel, which is located next
door to the library in downtown Salt Lake City. There will be a
class at the hotel on Sunday evening and an orientation at the library
on Monday morning. The rest of the week you are on your own to
work at the library or sight see in downtown Salt Lake City at your
leisure. We will depart Salt Lake City on Friday, October 3rd and
arrive back in Albert Lea on Saturday, October 4th. Whether you are a
seasoned genealogist or just beginning, this is a trip of a lifetime
that you wonít want to miss. We will have a meeting prior to
departure to help you prepare for the trip so that you can make the
most of your time at the library.
We are requiring a $100.00 non-refundable deposit at
the time you
register for the trip. One/half of the balance due by June 1,
2008 and the remaining balance by July 30, 2008.
